Athena Kontogianni is a lawyer and member of the Piraeus Bar Association since 2004. She completed her studies at the Department of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace. She also holds a degree from the Department of Political Science as well as a master’s degree from the Department of International Law of the Free University of Brussels (ULB).

Athena Kontogianni
The law office is a continuation of the law office of Paraskevi Kontogianni which was founded in 1972. The many years of experience, consistency and specialization in the maritime and civil law sectors as well as the cooperation with other specialized professionals (notaries, tax experts, accountants, bailiffs) ensure the provision of a high level of service, consulting and litigation.
Having dealt with several civil cases (family law, inheritance law, property law, leases, real estate law, cadastral cases), lawyer Athina Kontogianni takes on cases in this field with seriousness and professionalism, always with the client’s needs in mind.
Vasilis Klokouzas
Vasilis Klokouzas is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
He completed his studies in September 2024 and since then has been working in our office as a trainee lawyer. He mainly deals with civil law and commercial law in their full scope.
At the same time, he is pursuing postgraduate studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specializing in maritime law.
He is the son of Athina Kontogianni and is also involved in the administrative support of our office, acting as the communication liaison with our external partners and clients.

What changes were introduced by us in 2025?
Now also with a new office in Keratea, Attica!
As we had announced since the summer, for some time now we have been planning the expansion of our firm to Keratea, Attica, through the establishment of a parallel law office in the area. The inauguration of our new office took place on October 18th, with a large turnout and in a joyful atmosphere. Following this development, we are now in a position to provide services also to residents of Eastern Attica, through daily meetings and direct communication. Both of our offices serve our clients on a daily basis, allowing for the immediate scheduling of meetings, taking into account the urgent nature of each case.
Remote meetings are a new tool at our disposal!
Given the rapid progress of technology in our time, we have decided to make productive use of the tools offered by the modern era. Accordingly, we now provide every client with the option to schedule a remote meeting with us—via the Google Meeting platform—should they so wish. This is a possibility that we see being used increasingly by our clients and partners, reducing distances and effectively overcoming the obstacles of everyday life that we often encounter.
Oral briefings are now also provided in writing!
Taking into account that meetings with our clients may be lengthy and involve multiple and complex legal matters, we have decided to proceed as follows: after each meeting, regardless of its duration or the legal issue discussed, we send you electronically a comprehensive document outlining the issues addressed during the meeting, the available legal solutions that were proposed, as well as the resolution of any legal questions that may have arisen. In this way, there will be a clear and precise record of the substance of the meeting and of the effectiveness it achieved.
